Three kidnappers killed in Karachi shootout

Law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) have killed three ‘kidnappers’ in an alleged encounter in Manghopir area of Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.     

According to reports, those killed allegedly belonged to an inter-provincial gang and would kidnap people for ransom. 

The dead have been identified as Ali Gauhar, Naukaf and Shafiullah.   

LEAs said they also managed to secure the release of two persons namely Muhsin Marri and Zulfiqar Wasan from the captivity of the kidnappers. 

They both had been taken away from the SITE Area at Super Highway, and the kidnappers had demanded Rs50 million from their families in ransom.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Rangers have recovered Ghutka, cigarettes, tyres and cloth worth millions of rupees in Jacobabad.
