Court snubs Sheikh Rashid in Saudi Arabia incident case

Justice Abdul Aziz directs former minister to present record of remaining accused persons; adjourns hearing till Nov 16

Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench on Friday stated that case against former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed will not be rebuffed until the arrest of accused persons involved in Saudi Arabia incident, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

During the hearing, the court ordered the former minister to present the record of all persons involved in this incident. Justice Chaudhry Abdul Aziz asked the investigation officer about the action against the accused persons. Upon which, the investigation officer responded that few of the accused persons are abroad.

Justice Chaudhry Abdul Aziz directed the former minister to present the record of remaining accused persons and adjourned the hearing till November 16.

While talking to journalists outside the court, Sheikh Rasheed said that a specific mentality wants to create chaos in the country.
