Former PTI lawmaker Aamir Liaquat has said Prime Minister Imran Khan has 'no time for him'.

Talking to a private TV channel, he said he won't join any other party after saying goodbye to the ruling PTI party.

Aamir Liaquat took to Twitter to announce stepping down on Sunday.

Aamir Liaquat said he would continue serving his people and contest the upcoming election as an independent candidate.

He said he can beat any PTI candidate in the election. He said he won't change his mind even the premier and the First Lady contacted him.

This is not the first time Amir resigned.  Last year, Aamir Liaquat announced he would submit his resignation to PM Imran Khan in a meeting but he changed his mind later.

Aamir Liaquat was elected on the NA-245 seat from Karachi on a PTI ticket in the 2018 elections.

He said the cabinet members exposed by the Pandora Papers should be ousted. The Pandora Papers, an investigation uncovering financial secrets held by bigwigs across the world, have exposed 700 Pakistanis.
