She seemingly does not support women who change their last names and take their husbands’ names after marriage.

“I have been saying this for years but no one listens. This is not important to change the identity after marriage. Please don’t change your names.” said Nadia Afghan 

Taking this matter to an Ulema, who also said it’s not necessary for the woman to change her identity after marriage because, “you are not his sister and not his daughter, but his wife.
