Pillion riding banned in Karachi from Muharram 8-10

Sindh government has banned pillion riding for three days from Muharram 8 to 10 days in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the channel, the decision has been taken to maintain the law and order situation during the month of Muharram.

Special processions are being held on these days all over Pakistan to mark the martyrdom of grandson of Holy Prophet (PBUH) Hazrat Imam Hussain Aleh Slam and his family in Karbala.

There is always the threat to these processions to deepen the law and order situation in the country to create anarchy from anti-state elements baked by the enemies of the country and the government of all provinces are in practice of banning pillion ride as well as suspending mobile phone services in these days to minimize the terrorist threat on this occasion.
