PPP to hold social media convention in Lahore on Aug 12

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Friday decided to hold a social media convention in Lahore on August 12 next, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the PPP sources, a meeting of the People’s Social Media Activists was also held at the party’s central secretariat where preparations for the upcoming social media convention in Lahore were deliberated upon.

It was decided during the meeting to make separate volunteer groups for different social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp.

It was also decided during the meeting to choose a specific day in a week for running hashtag trends on social networking sites.

Deputy Information Secretary Nayab Jan, Farrukh Basir, Kalsoom Fatima, Mirza Awais Baig, Basharat Bishi, Hafeez Jutt and others were present in the meeting.
