Pakistan, Turkish naval chiefs discuss defence ties

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi on his official visit to Turkey called on Commander of Turkish Fleet Admiral Ercument Tatlioglu, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Nizai also called on Cdrs Golcuk and Istanbul Naval Shipyards Rear Admiral (LH) Mustafa Saygili and Rear Admiral (LH) Erdinc Yetkin separately, a Navy’s Spokesperson said in a tweet.

The Chief of Naval Staff visited both shipyards and was briefed about PN Milgem project. 

Later, CNS called on CEO ASFAT, Esad AKGUN and was apprised about capabilities of military factories and shipyards.

The visit of the Naval Chief will further enhance naval collaborations and defence ties between the two countries.
