Pakistan has said that unilateral and illegal actions taken by BJP-led fascist regime in Occupied Kashmir have put the regional peace and stability at stake.

Addressing a seminar in Islamabad on Thursday, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Pakistan is a peace-loving country and it remains committed to lowering tensions and promoting peace and stability in the region.

He reiterated that Pakistan wants to forge peaceful relations with all its neighbouring countries, including India and Afghanistan, but he regretted India's belligerent behaviour.

The foreign minister said recent spree of violence in New Delhi has badly exposed Hindutva ideology of the BJP government and its hate against Muslims.

New Delhi is facing international scrutiny like never before as 'Incredible India' is now being viewed as 'intolerant India' and 'Shining India' as 'Burning India'.

He recalled that Pakistan's armed forces responded to Indian aggression with full strength in February last year while keeping a significant element of restraint in the exemplary response.

On the other hand, he said, Pakistan opened Kartarpur Corridor to allow Sikh pilgrims to visit their holy site and this peace initiative won recognition at the international level.

Talking about Afghanistan, Qureshi said Islamabad will not become a party to any regional conflict and would continue supporting the negotiated settlement of all regional disputes.

He said conflicts are not in favour of any country and dialogue is only viable option to bring peace and stability to the region.

About the landmark peace accord inked in Doha, he said it vindicated Prime Minister Imran Khan's long-held narrative that there is no military solution to the Afghan conflict and only a politically-negotiated settlement can ensure peace in the war-torn country.

Talking about Pakistan's counter-terrorism efforts, the minister said various operations were launched to eliminate terrorism, including Raddul Fasaad, which helped promote peace and stability in the country.
