The politics of central Punjab has twisted after starting a long march of Bilawal Bhutto and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Afzal Chan has decided to rejoin Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
The 24News HD TV channel reported on Saturday that the political figures of the prominent Chan family of Mandi Bahauddin has also offended the PTI government policies and decided to leave it.
On the other hand, former MPA Waseem Afzal Chan has said he and his brother are still a part of the ruling party—the PTI.
Pertinent to mention here that Nadeem Afzal Chan has already tendered his resignation from the post of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Parliamentary Coordination.
In October 2017, Nadeem resigned from the post of Secretary-General of PPP Punjab and joined PTI.
