The gold prices in Pakistan continued to increase Saturday as the price of one tola of gold increased by another Rs600. Reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, the price of one tola gold reached Rs129,400 after seeing an increase of Rs600.

On the other hand, the price of 10-gram gold saw an increase of Rs515 and was being traded for 110,940.

The glittering metal is considered a safe haven for investors and any threat to the world economy results in an increase in demand for the gold and resultant increase in its price. The same trend was seen during the coronavirus pandemic and now the uncertainty looming over the world’s peace due to the Russia-Ukraine war has once again triggered an increase in the gold prices as well as other commodities including oil and gas.

The rate of one-ounce gold also saw an increase of $27 per ounce and one-ounce gold was being traded for $1974.
