The process of bringing the stranded Pakistanis back to the country continues, as more flights landed in Pakistan from different countries, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

One of these flights arrived in Multan from Tanzania with 124 passengers on board. Soon after their arrival, 121 were shifted to quarantine centres established at Labour Complex and hotels. The remaining three were, however, admitted to Nishtar Hospital.

Separately, more than 250 passengers arrived at the Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar on a Qatar Airways flight from Doha. All the passengers were sent to quarantine as per the standard operating procedure.

Meanwhile, special PIA flight PK-784 ensured the return of 284 Pakistanis from Istanbul, Turkey, as it landed in Islamabad. Two of them were shifted to PIMS while the remaining had been quarantined at different centres.

On the other hand, the Civil Aviation Authority allowed the Air Arabia to operate a special flight from Sharjah to Multan on May 10.

The airline is expected to bring over 200 Pakistanis who are stuck in the UAE since the imposition of lockdown.
