A man in Attock dies from Congo Virus

A 47-year-old man died from the Congo Virus in the Hazro city of Attock district, 24News HD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to the channel, following emergency measures taken by the Assistant Commissioner, the body of a 47-year-old individual who succumbed to the Congo virus has been handed over to the family.
The family members said, Imran was affected by Congo Virus and had developed fever and bleeding last month on April 27.
Special precautions were taken as the body was sealed in a special box and transported from Rawalpindi to the deceased's native village.
After funeral prayers, the deceased was buried in the ancestral graveyard.
The Health Department has confirmed that all family members and close contacts of the Congo virus-affected deceased Imran have been screened.
