Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former Sindh governor Muhammad Zubair in his first press conference after being appointed as spokesperson for PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz Monday claimed government will not remain in power before March, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

He also lashed out at Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr Shahbaz Gill who earlier alleged that Nawaz was targeting the Pakistan army through his speeches. He was addressing a media person at the Karachi Press Club (KPC).

Muhammad Zubair said that Shahbaz Gill and Sheikh Rashid and others brigade of minister alleged Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz has met Indians. Zubair further said that PML-N has the right to send a legal notice if the statements regarding meeting of party leaders with Indians were not retracted.

He said, “After the opposition movement, the government is upset and confused. After Nawaz Sharif's speech, half the work has been done. Nawaz Sharif has not committed any crime. He will not take NRO from anyone who is not ready to join hands with the opposition.”

“Nawaz Sharif will not take NRO from anyone who has no constitutional authority and Nawaz Sharif does not even consider Imran Khan as Prime Minister,” he further said.

He said he had not asked for any relief for the PML-N in meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

“Nawaz Sharif has said nothing wrong in his speeches and he only talked about what has been written in the Constitution of Pakistan.” he further said.
