The Taliban have imposed a ban on aerial firing in Kabul and other Afghan cities, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
A spokesperson for the Taliban, Zabihullah Mujahid, said that all the authorities in Kabul and other parts of Afghanistan have been directed to arrest the persons involved in the aerial firing.
"Those involved will also be disarmed and expelled from the cities," he said, adding that directives for identifying and penalising the individuals involved in aerial firing have been issued to the police and intelligence officials.
