Bollywood Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are reportedly tying the knot next week and the guest list for their Mumbai reception allegedly includes the king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan and actor Deepika Padukone.

Though the Kapoor-Bhatt wedding will take place at their RK House in Chembur, India Today's sources revealed it is going to be a lavish affair.

The source also disclosed some of the stars on the guest list. "Bollywood celebrities like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aditya Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, Ayan Mukerji, Aditya Roy Kapur, Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar have been invited to Ranbir and Alia's reception.”

Pinkvilla's source spilled more details about the wedding week. "The wedding is taking place in April. The wedding festivities will take place from April 13 to April 17. During this period, the sangeet and mehndi ceremonies are scheduled as well." The couple has asked their families to keep their schedules free during this time.

The source also revealed the designers Bhatt has finalised to spin magic into her wedding outfits. "Alia will wear Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi outfits for her wedding celebration."

The lovebirds have multiple projects lined up which puts a strain on their schedules making mid April the only time the two could coordinate to make space for their wedding with the blessing of the family pandit.

If we learned anything from Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif's wedding, we know not to treat Indian media reports like gospel. But, unlike Kaushal and Kaif's private relationship, Ranbir and Bhatt have been openly dating since 2018.

The couple will be sharing the screen in the upcoming movie Brahmastra releasing on September 9. Apart from this, Bhatt has Darlings, Jee Le Zaraa, and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani coming up with the addition of her Hollywood debut in Heart of Stone alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.

Ranbir has Shamshera, Luv Ranjan’s untitled next and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal in the pipeline.
