Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar met leaders of PML-Q, a key partner in coalition government, at the chamber of Punjab Assembly Speaker Parvez Elahi on Wednesday.

Speaker Parvez headed his party delegates including federal minister Tariq Bashir Cheema and MNA Moonis Elahi. During the meeting, the leaders of ally party raised their reservations which the chief minister vowed to remove.

The Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf will not abandon its allies as their support give the ruling party a strength to cope with the challenges of better public service delivery, the CM assured.

During the meeting, the partners took stock of ongoing political situation in the province and the centre’s effort for projecting Kashmir and war on coronavisurs.

CM Buzdar was due to meet the PML-Q on August 4 but his engagement made him put off the meeting.
