Court sends recovered four girls to their homes in Lahore

A court has ordered to send the four girls who went missing from Hanjarwal, Lahore, and later recovered from Sahiwal, to their parents, rejecting the plea of the Child Bureau Protection for keeping the girls in its facility, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The girls showed their willingness to go with their parents before the court. 

Earlier, the girls recorded their statements in the courtroom on Friday.

The Child Protection Bureau presented the girls before the district court. Besides them, seven accused including two women were also appeared before the court.

The accused included: Shazia, Zeenat, Qasim, Naeem, Shahzad, Kashif and Asif.

In their statements, the girls: Kinza, Anam, Ayesha and Samreen (whose ages are between 12 to 14 years old) said that they wanted to go to their homes and did not want to go to the Child Protection Bureau. 

According to the girls’ statements, they were kidnapped from Lahore. But no sexual assault was made during their abduction period. They stated that accused Shazia’s husband Shahzad took them to the Orange Train. They were sold to accused Zainab’s household. 

The girls said accused Zainab helped them and she informed the police about their presence in her house. They stated that accused Zainab provided them with clothes and food. They pronounced that accused Zainab’s husband was a sinner. 

The girls told the court that they wanted to go to their homes and didn’t want to move to the Child Protection Bureau. 

Their statements were recorded in the court of Judicial Magistrate Wasim Waris. 

Meanwhile, the medical report of the four girls was also submitted to the court. 

According to the report, no sexual attempt was made at them. Swab samples of the girls were collected to determine the fact. The samples were sent to a forensic laboratory to establish the truth.
