The National Assembly on Friday gave a 120-day extension to the Second Amendment to Election Ordinance and Parents Protection Ordinance, 2021, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority Bill, 2020 was also tabled during the NA session with Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri in the chair.

Parliamentary Secretary for Education Wajih Akram, on the occasion, tabled Islamabad University Bill which has been approved by the Senate with amendments but rejected by the National Assembly. The bill was then referred to the joint session of the parliament.

Parliamentary Secretary of Finance Zain Qureshi presented the auditor general’s report of 2020-21 in the assembly.

The NA session was then adjourned till Monday.
