Aamir Liaquat’s daughter challenges court verdict on his father’s postmortem

A sessions court in Karachi on Saturday admitted for hearing the appeal filed by Dua Aamir, daughter of late religious scholar and TV host late Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain, against the decision given by a judicial magistrate on the postmortem of the body of his father, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Later, talking to the media, Advocate Zia Awan, counsel for Dua, said that a judicial magistrate-East had ordered the postmortem of late religious scholar’s body on an application filed by a citizen. “Following which, we approached the Sindh High Court (SHC), which had granted us ‘stay’ in the case and directed us to approach a sessions court for further action in the case,” he elaborated.
