Zardari said the PPP leadership belonged to the soil of Pakistan and would also live and survive here.

In his address to Jailas, Zardari lauded the performance of PPP in NA-133 Lahore by-elections in which the party candidate received more than 32,313 votes against the Nawaz League’s 46,811 votes.

He coined his political analysis on the party’s defeat that if the turnout had increased, the PPP candidate would have got 50,000 votes for the victory.
