Roadside accidents claim five lives in Tando Allahyar, Arifwala

A truck loaded with sugarcane overturned and fell on the self-built temporary camp of flood victims which resulted in the sudden death of a woman and her two minor daughters and left one daughter critically injured in Tando Allahyar on Tuesday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Victims of flood-hit areas are living in camps built by them on Chamber Road in Raam Basti. They are living under the open sky for the last four months as their houses are drowned in rainwater.

The woman identified as Maah, and minor daughters named Champa and Parvati died on the spot while 4-year-old Shanti is severely injured.

The injured girl has been shifted to the hospital for medical aid. On the other hand, the truck driver managed to flee from the scene.

Meanwhile, a speeding tractor-trolley hit a motorcycle in Arifwala on Tuesday morning due to which a mother and her son died on the spot.

Rescue 1122 took the bodies into their custody and shifted them to the hospital.
