Four die in Muzaffargarh coach-truck collision

Four passengers lost their lives and 12 others injured after a speeding passenger coach and a truck collided near Haji Wah-Alipur Road in Muzaffargarh on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

At least 12 passengers including women were injured and were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital DHQ, Muzaffargarh.

Muzaffargarh Rescue 1122 said the accident occurred while the vehicles tried to overtake amid high speed. The passenger coach was going to Lahore from Alipur.

Earlier on Thursday, three family members including a woman died while another two sustained critical injuries when speeding cars collided near Pir Fateh Shah Shrine, Qasba Gujrat Road in Muzaffargarh.

Rescue 1122 officials said two members of a family died on the spot while another succumbed to injuries after reaching the hospital.
