A man tortured his wife and a minor daughter to death over domestic dispute here on Wednesday. Police arrested the accused.

According to details, the incident took place in jurisdiction of Rawalpindi’s Nasirabad police station where accused Mujahid killed his wife Hina Ishfaq and one and half years old daughter Anaya by torturing them brutally.

Muhammad Ishfaq, father-in-law of the accused, told police that the culprit Mujahid used to torture Hina and often demand money for construction of house and recently they had sent Rs200,000 to him.

The police arrested the murderer and after registering a case against him have started an investigation.
