Zain Effendi shot dead inside his house in Karachi

Gunmen shot dead Zain Effendi, grandson of Sindh Madrassatul Islam’s founder Hassan Effendi, inside his house in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Five killers entered the house of Zain Effendi near Mazar-i-Quaid in the wee hours of Wednesday, tied the servant with ropes and sprayed a volley of bullets on Zain Effendi. Three bullets hit Zain Effendi’s face.

The murderers remained in the house for 55 minutes as they entered it at 325am and left at 420am. Forensic teams have reached the house to collect evidence.

Police are investigating the incident and also launched a hunt for the killers. They were also trying to determine whether this was a target killing or a dacoity.
