Adviser to PM on Interior and Accountability Mirza Shahzad Akbar on Thursday visited FIA office in Lahore and held talks with Agency’s Punjab Director Dr Rizwan Ahmad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

During his visit to FIA Lahore office, Shahzad Akbar was briefed on other important cases including the case against leader of the opposition and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Mian Shehbaz Sharif.

Shahzad Akbar also directed the FIA to complete the investigation of the cases referred to FATF as soon as possible.

Shahzad further gave guidelines for improving the quality of work under the Anti-Money Laundering Act.
