SC full court cancelled as Justice Mazhar catches dengue virus

The Supreme Court full court reference slated to be held tomorrow (Thursday) in honour of outgoing Justice Mazhar Alam Mian Khel has been cancelled due to his ailment, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Reportedly, Justice Mazhar Alam has been infected by dengue virus and is currently in a hospital getting treatment. The apex court has postponed its full court reference and the SC Bar Association has also cancelled its dinner in his honour owning to his indisposition.

The full court reference was scheduled earlier on July 7 (tomorrow) because of the Eid holidays. 

Justice Mazhar Alam is retiring on July 13. 

The decision regarding rescheduling of the function will be taken after the recovery of the outgoing judge.
