Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said on Sunday that the federal government has allotted merely five to six billion rupees for Sindh in comparison to Punjab in the budget whereas the Centre is providing billions for the road sector in Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

“All motorways were built in Punjab. Why are they treating Sindh like this? There is no development scheme for Sindh in the federal budget,” the Sindh CM said.

He alleged that the federal government is giving more money to Punjab for dual carriageways in comparison to Sindh.

“The provincial government of Sindh has no contact with the federal government,” he said and added the federal government has opened the avenues of corruption.

He further said that now the Sindh government is building Sukkur-Hyderabad road on Public Private Partnership (PPP) Mode.

Talking to newsmen after after inaugurating new vaccination centre at Expo Centre Hall No 3 in Karachi, Murad Ali Shah said, “Corona vaccination drive in Sindh started on February 3 this year and so far a total of 1.3 million people have been vaccinated.”
