Two teens drown in BRB Canal

Two boys drowned in Bambaanwala-Ravi-Bedian (BRB) Canal near Jando Sahi town, Daska on Sunday.

According to 24News HD TV Channel, one body has been recovered while the rescue teams are searching the other. The deceased was identified as 18-year Yushwa and the missing Tayyab Ali. The body of Yushwa has been handed over to his family.

It is very usual for the children to go swimming in canals in summer to beat the heat. But unfortunately, many lose their lives due to carelessness and lack of precautions every year.  

Last Sunday, three boys drowned while swimming in Panyari Canal Hyderabad. And, a few days earlier, Karachi-based three friends drowned in the canal of Tando Allah Yar Canal where they reached to enjoying holidays. Earlier in the month, four children of the Bagri community drowned in Beto Jatoi Canal near the area of Khairpur Nathan Shah in Sindh.
