Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz has strongly condemned the blasphemous remarks of BJP leaders, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain and Chaudhry Shafay Hussain called on Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore.

The meeting strongly condemned blasphemy in India.

Hamza said that insulting the dignity of the Prophet (PBUH) could not even imagine in any civilized society.

Punjab CM said protecting the honor of the last Prophet Muhammad is part of the faith of every Muslim.

Hamza said the blasphemous statement made by a female leader of the BJP has hurt the feelings of Muslims from all over the world.

He said the consequences of Islamophobia are manifested in the form of hatred. Beside this issues of mutual interest and political situation were discussed.
