Two Pakistani women cricketers have been nominated for Player of the Month as the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the nominees for the best player of the month for May, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

ICC has named national captain Bismah Maroof and more recently Tuba Hassan as Player of the Month.

Trinity Smith of Jersey is the third female cricketer to be nominated for a potential award.

It may be recalled that during the Sri Lankan women's team's tour of Pakistan, the national team performed brilliantly.

Pakistan won the ODI series 2-1 and made a clean sweep in the T20I series.
