Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (JCSC) Chairman General Nadeem Raza has said Pakistan will not compromise on its nuclear program as a guarantee of integrity against the defence of the motherland.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, General Nadeem Raza addressed a seminar “Regional Environment and Imperatives of Security” at the NUST Institute of Policy Studies (NIPS) on Monday.

Gen Nadeem who is also the Deputy Chairman of the National Command Authority (NCA) has said Pakistan's nuclear program has the support of the people and all political parties.

The JCSC Chairman said Pakistan is a responsible and confident nuclear country and pursuing the policy of ‘Full Spectrum Deterrence’.

NCA Deputy Chairman General Nadeem said baseless and unnecessary comments on the strategic program should be avoided at all costs as only the NCA is authorized to respond to it like the norms in other nuke-states if needed.
