Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has once again demanded the constitution of a judicial commission to probe the US ‘conspiracy’, which led to the ouster of its government as a result of no-trust motion passed on April 9, 2022, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad along with members of the party’s legal team, PTI leader Babar Awan said that thrice the National Security Committee (NSC) had admitted that there was an ‘interference’ by the USA in the country’s internal affairs. “Therefore, it would be appropriate if a commission is formed to identify the people who had facilitated all this,” he demanded.

He said that the party’s high command had decided not to allow its members of the National Assembly (MNAs) to go to the NA speaker’s chamber for the verification of their resignations.

PTI leader said that former NA deputy speaker Qasim Suri had accepted the resignations of the party MNAs before the coalition parties took office.

He was of the view that the notices sent to the PTI legislators were illegal.

Awan went on to say that it was the party’s core committee’s decision that none of the MNAs would show up before the speaker for the purpose.

He also made it clear that the PTI did not recognize the ‘imported’ government, and would not do so at any cost.
