Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday ordered the jail officials to place Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Chaudhry Parvez Ealhi under house arrest within 15 days at his residence.

In addition, the court directed the jail authorities to make sure Parvez Elahi had access to adequate facilities and medical attention while under house arrest.

It is worth mentioning that Parvez Elahi got injured as he slipped in the washroom of Adiala Jail on March 19 and Adiala Jail superintendent submitted a report to the court that PTI leader Ch Pervez Ealhi’s ribs fractured after he fell in the washroom of the jail.
