The international premiere of Olivia Wilde's "Don't Worry Darling" took place at the Venice International Film Festival on Monday night after much anticipation.

Before the movie, crowds of screaming Harry Styles admirers approached the red carpet's borders in an effort to catch a glimpse of him.

In a shimmering off-the-shoulder Valentino, star Florence Pugh also made a big arrival on the Lido, stopping to chat with fans as she made her way down the carpet.

By the time the screening was complete, spectators stood to their feet and gave "Don't Worry Darling" a five-minute standing ovation. Styles was also seen giving co-star Nick Kroll a big hug from the balcony. But the excitement surrounding the movie and its actors didn't really fade away on premiere day. Some others even kept track of who was seated where in the cinema.

Many watched the press conference for the movie earlier that day in the hopes that rumors of conflict with Pugh behind the scenes would be addressed or clarified. Before the film's premiere, Wilde stated that she didn't want to add to "the noise" or "the endless tabloid gossip."

“The internet feeds itself,” Wilde said. “I don’t need to contribute, I think it’s significantly well-nourished.”

Adapted on a narrative by Carey Van Dyke, Shane Van Dyke, and Silberman, the script for Olivia Wilde's 2022 American psychological thriller Don't Worry Darling was written by Katie Silberman. Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Wilde, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, Nick Kroll, and Chris Pine are among the cast members.

In the 1950s, Jack and Alice Chambers are a young, in love couple living in Victory, California, a picture-perfect company town built and financed by the shadowy organization Jack works for. Cracks start to appear in their utopian existence as a result of Alice's investigation into her husband's work on the covert "Victory Project," which also causes conflicts in the neighborhood.
