Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Thursday filed a no-confidence motion against Punjab Assembly Speaker Pervaiz Elahi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

PML-N leaders Samiullah Khan, Khalil Tahir Sindhu and Khawaja Salman Rafique filed a no-confidence motion against Punjab Assembly Speaker Pervaiz Elahi.

The text of the no-confidence motion filed against the Speaker of the Punjab Assembly Pervaiz Elahi said that the majority of the House did not trust the Speaker Punjab Assembly Pervaiz Elahi and the affairs of Punjab were not going according to the constitution.

The text of the no-confidence move also said that the Punjab Speaker's Assembly had abolished democratic traditions in Punjab.
