Pakistan Television (PTV) will air second season of Turkish drama series Ertugrul Gazi in Urdu dubbing from August 8, 2020.

After the huge success of first season in Pakistan, the second season of historical Turkish drama series Dirilis: Ertugrul will be aired from tomorrow. The drama is being aired on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The drama will be telecast on PTV five-day a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) at 8pm.

The series is based on the life of the 13th-century Muslim Oghuz Turk leader Ertugrul, whose son Osman Ghazi is considered to be the founder of the Ottoman Empire.

It depicts the bravery of Muslim Oghuz Turks fighting the Mongol invaders, Christians, Byzantines and the Knights Templar in Anatolia.
