Police in Islamabad on Friday arrested a fake NAB officer red-handed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the Margalla police, the accused has been introducing himself to others as an adviser to Justice Shahzad Qamar.

His modus operandi was to target businessmen with different official numbers and mobile phones. He was also using a Mercedez vehicle of the owner of Safa Gold.

The accused, impersonating as a National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officer and has been operating for quite some time, was arrested by the Margallah police which also compounded his vehicle.

According to police sources, the accused has confessed many crimes during the preliminary investigation.
