A snake appeared at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport on Saturday, spreading panic and fear in people, particularly in the airport staff, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Quoting sources the channel reported that although the staff clubbed the snake to death, which reportedly came out of one of the rooms of the fire station, still there were reports of the presence of more snakes in these rooms.

It is being speculated that the snake might have entered one of fire station rooms from the bushes surrounding the runway as such incidents have become a routine now.

And despite the fact that the staff has repeatedly complained to the airport administration about their presence, still the latter is acting like a silent spectator.

Already several airport employees have landed in hospitals after having been bitten by snakes, scorpions and other animals.
