Fog hampers flight schedule

Fog threw air traffic out of gear at the Allama Iqbal International Airport, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

the flight operation was suspended for 12 hours due to low visibility on the runway.

The Schedule of more than 17 flights was revised. Flight WS1195 from Tehran was delayed for 18 and a half hours, Emirates flight EK622 from Dubai 13 hours, PIA flight PK9726 from Riyadh 7 and a half hours.

Flight TK715 to Istanbul was delayed for 5 hours 45 minutes and PK229 to Muscat was 7 hours. Oman Air flight WY343 from Muscat and PIA flight PK264 from Abu Dhabi were not allowed to land.
