KSE-100 index gains 170 points; dollar increases 23 paisas

Pakistan Stock Exchange KSE-100 with an increase of 170.58 points (0.48 percent) witnessed a positive trend and the KSE-100 benchmark reached 35,373.35 at the closing time of the trading on Tuesday.

While in the early morning trading, the KSE-100 index with a jump of 151.39 points reached 35,202.77 points.

The number of factors has contributed to the positive trend including the decline in the number of COVId-19 cases and casualties duo to coronavirus in the country.

The KSE-100 was closed at 35,051.38 points on Friday.

US dollar increases 23 paisas against Pakistani rupee

The US dollar with an increase of 23 paisas now reached at Rs 166.95 against the Pakistani rupees, State Bank of Pakistan (SPB) said Tuesday, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

In the inter-bank market, Euro increased 13 paisas against Pakistani rupees and reached at Rs 188.29 while Pound Sterling with an increase of 13 paisas traded at Rs 208.32 in the inter-bank market.
