Court grants bail to three sons of Mufti Aziz

A local court has granted bails to the sons of Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman who has been arrested after the allegation of raping one of his pupils, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Additional District and Sessions Judge Nauman Muhammad Naeem heard the bail applications of Latif-ur-Rehman, Waseem-ur-Rehman and Wasi-ur-Rehman against surety bonds worth Rs50,00 each. All three accused also appeared before the court on the expiry of their interim bail. The police produced the case record during the proceedings.

Advocate Sakhawat Ali Danyal represented the case of the accused sons of cleric Aziz in the court and argued that his clients did not have any link with the case. He pleaded with the court for a grant of bail to them.

Earlier, the District and Sessions Court extended the interim bail to three sons of Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman in a Madrasa student sexual assault case till July 7.
