Indian Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann tied the knot for the second time on Thursday as he married 32-year-old physician from Pehowa village - Dr Gurpreet Kaur, in a private ceremony at his residence in Chandigarh.

Images of the wedding ceremony showed the 48-year-old Indian Punjab CM wearing a yellow turban and Dr Gurpreet dressed in a traditional red wedding gown.
Ahead of the wedding, Dr Gurpreet Kaur took to Twitter to share her image with the caption “Din Shagna Da Chadya,” which loosely translates to ‘the day of marriage.’

Reports said that this marriage was an arranged one.

Mann separated from his first wife with whom he has two children in 2015. Mann's 21-year-old daughter Seerat and 17-year-old son Dilshan from his first marriage had flown in from the US when he took oath as Punjab chief minister in March.
