In every other chamber in the courts of Lahore, a couple is seen tying the knot.

It is learnt that more than 25 affidavits were bought by such couples for court marriage in one week only.

The Nikah Khwan are reportedly receiving Rs2,500 to Rs3,000 for administering Nikah to these couples.

These love-marriage couples, especially the girls, usually file petitions against their parents for keeping them hostage. The high court has ordered the courts to discourage such petitions.
