Former PM Abbasi exposes blackmailing of ex-CJP to him

Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has exposed the blackmailing of ex-Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to him first-ever on 24News HD TV Channel’s live program on Tuesday.
According to the details, Abbasi said in the channel’s live program Nasim Zehra @ 8:00 that he was willing to abolish the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) during his premiership.
Abbasi said when he wanted to abolish NAB, the then Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) sent him a message that if closed down the Bureau in the morning, they (Judges of the Supreme Court) will go on a strike in the evening and if eliminates this institution in the evening then they will go on a strike very next morning.
It is worth mentioning that Justice (Retired) Mian Saqib Nisar has served as the Chief Justice of Pakistan from December 2016 to January 2019 while Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has served as PM from August 2017 to May 2018.
He also discussed some important issues like petrol prices and business community problems in the program and suggested PM Shehbaz Sharif to hold a grand dialogue with all stakeholders on the situation in the country.
The Nawaz League’s leader said his government will not give any subsidy on petrol and any increase in prices in the global market will be passed on to the people directly.
The former premier said they are bound to implement the previous government’s agreement with International Monitory Fund (IMF) till August this year.
