Cases against big fish will be taken to logical conclusion: NAB chairman

The Chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that mega corruption cases against big fish will be brought to a logical conclusion as per law.

A statement issued by the chairman NAB said that billions of rupees looted from corrupt elements would be recovered. All investigations will be completed on the basis of merit, transparency, solid evidence and documentary evidence.

Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal has directed the concerned DGs to submit the latest report on all mega corruption cases as well as cases of illegal housing societies.

He said that according to the Gillani and Gallup polls, 59% of the people have expressed confidence in the NAB. Transparency International Pakistan, World Economic Forum, PLDAT and Mashal have praised the NAB s efforts to eradicate corruption.
