The administration of federal capital Monday permitted the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) to bring its long march to D Chowk and hold a public meeting there, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

PPP Central Secretariat Incharge Sibtul Haider Bukhari said that the Islamabad administration had been informed about the details of the public meeting following which the latter allowed the PPP to bring its long march to D Chowk.

He also expressed hope that the district administration would cooperate with the party in its arrangements for the public meeting, adding that the long march would be accorded a warm welcome at D Chowk.
