Three alleged dacoits dead in police encounter in Sahiwal

Three alleged dacoits were killed during an encounter with police in Sahiwal, reported 24NewsHd TV channel on Monday.

According to details, the alleged dacoits were fleeing after looting money from a citizen when they were intercepted by the police that resulted into an exchange of fire between the police and the dacoits.

The encounter occurred in Anjam Farms area in the jurisdiction of the Ghalla Mandi Police Station.

According to police sources, all the three dacoits were killed by SHO Ghalla Mandi Police Station Zaman Watoo during the cross firing when the dacoits were trying to flee after looting a citizen.

The police sources said the killed dacoits were also wanted for many incidents involving looting of medica and departmental stores in the city.
