Dubai-based senior journalist and 24News correspondent Atiya Mustafa Cheema passed away. She was battling cancer.

Her funeral was held in Bahria Town Islamabad and was laid to rest at her ancestral graveyard in the Gujranwala district of Punjab.

Atiya Mustafa was one of the senior journalists in Dubai. She had several exclusive stories to his credit. She is survived by two daughters and two sons.
