For the preparations of the provincial budget of Punjab, the provincial government Friday banned its concerned officers to go out of Lahore city during the Eid Holidays, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

Employees of the government in Punjab province would get nine holidays started from May 10 to May 15 on account of the Eid ul Fitr as per official notification issued last Tuesday.

But, the officers who are responsible for preparations of the provincial budget statement-2021-22 have not been allowed to return to their native areas or to visit outside of the city for any other reason.

But, in some highly obligatory matters, they could go outside of Lahore after getting special permission from the higher authorities of the province.

The provincial budget of Punjab is expected in June, a couple of days after the presentation of the federal budget in the national assembly expected in the second week of June 2021.
