Rehman Malik urges European Parliament to withdraw resolution against Pakistan

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator and former interior minister Rehman Malik demanded European Parliament to take back its resolution against Pakistan considering an interference in an independent country’s sovereignty, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

The PPP Senator had written a letter to European Parliament President David Sassoli in this regard and said that Pakistani people considered such act as direct interference in their sovereignty so it should be withdrawn.

Addressing a press conference on Friday, Rehman Malik also showed his serious concern over the increase of coronavirus affectees and told the media persons that he had also sent a letter to the United Nations (UN) General Secretary (GS) Antonio Guterres to probe the facts about coronavirus.  

He said he had requested the UN Secretary General for disclosing the reality of the coronavirus either it was natural or synthetic.

He also urged the people of Pakistan to stay home, stay safe following the severe situation of the coronavirus epidemic in the country.

During the press conference, Malik also urged the European Parliament President that it should impose financial restrictions against India for using their territory to let down Pakistan in the world community.

Showing regrets over the horrible situation of coronavirus in India, he also demanded the Indian government to lift the curfew from its Occupied Kashmir territory as Kashmiri people were not facilitated by the corona vaccination and other treatments.
